Preventive maintenance for a dairy laboratory analyzer to include routine servicing of the instrument to keep it accurate, reliable, clean, and in good working order before issues occur. The preventative maintenance for the FLM300 should include: Disassembling instrument components or panels Inspecting internal electrical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, and heating systems Diagnosing instrument faults and error codes Replacing internal parts such as sensors, boards, motors, pumps, probes, filters, lamps, tubing, seals, or wiring as needed Annual replacement of both excitation and emission filters. That is one of the clearest scheduled PM items in the FLM300 guide. Fuse check/replacement when indicated, using the specified 5 x 20 mm, 250V, time-delay,1-Amp fuses. Performing alignment and mechanical adjustments Verifying and adjusting temperatures, timing, pressure, optics, or motion settings Performing calibration setup or service calibration procedures Conducting operational and performance checks after service Installing firmware or software updates when applicable Documenting service performed, parts replaced, and final instrument status The preventative maintenance for the 4250 should include: Cleaning the sample probe and stir/freeze wire Inspecting and replacing internal electrical, mechanical, optical, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems as needed Checking probe and stir/freeze wire alignment with the alignment tool Checking and replacing fuses, drain tubing assembly as necessary After any alignment change, checking stir/freeze amplitude and then checking/readjusting calibration as necessary Providing replacement parts (if needed), reagents, and consumables to perform the PM service.
