About this opportunity
This Request for Quotation (RFQ #080217-32/KM) issued by the Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Purchasing Department seeks quotations for the purchase and delivery of two (2) trailer-mounted pressure washers. The solicitation was posted on August 9, 2017, with a submission deadline of August 16, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time, and responses may be submitted via fax or email to Kristen A. Monnett, Senior Buyer. All equipment must be new and of current manufacture, include factory/manufacturer warranties covering defects in materials and workmanship, and be delivered to Palm Beach County Fleet Management at 2601 Vista Parkway, West Palm Beach, Florida 33411, with delivery accepted Tuesday through Thursday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All quotations must include product name and model number, descriptive literature, and comply with detailed technical specifications for both the trailer and pressure washer components, with pricing firm and fixed with no escalation clauses. Pricing must remain firm for ninety (90) days from the opening date to allow for evaluation and award, and the award will be made on an all-or-none, total offer basis to the lowest responsive and responsible quoter. The County reserves the right to purchase additional quantities of the same equipment for up to twelve (12) months from the award date at the prices and terms offered in response to this RFQ.
Palm Beach County extends a 5% local preference discount to quoters with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades, and a 5% preference is available to small business enterprises (SBEs) certified by Palm Beach County if they are within 10% of the lowest responsive bid. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or specific budget ranges are listed in the solicitation documentation. The County is exempt from federal and state taxes, and payment will be made upon receipt, acceptance, and proper invoicing of the equipment. No site visits or bidders' conferences are mentioned as part of the procurement process.
