About this opportunity
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is requesting bids on design, delivery, and installation of a prefabricated steel booth at the Presidio Port of Entry under IFB 458-E260214, with bids due July 30, 2026, at 5:00 PM Central Time and a mandatory pre-bid virtual conference on July 14 at 10:00 AM CDT.
The booth is a single-unit prefabricated steel structure measuring 7 feet wide by 11 feet deep by 8 feet high, to be located at 99400 US Highway 67, Presidio, Texas 79845. Scope includes design and engineering drawings, delivery, installation with full electrical hookup, and disconnection and relocation of the existing booth approximately 75 to 100 yards from its current location. Respondents must have five years of experience installing pre-engineered building systems and must submit certified engineering drawings, structural calculations, and energy calculations with their bids.
Specifications cover structural steel frame construction, insulated walls, galvanized steel floor with resilient tiles, steel roof with drainage and lifting eyes, commercial-grade steel doors with extended overhangs, steel-framed windows with tinted tempered dual-pane glass, LED lighting, electrical panel supporting up to 125 amps at 120/240 volts, split-unit air conditioning with minimum 14,900 BTU capacity, floor-mounted electric heating, stainless steel shelving and counters, and weather sealing in light gray rust-inhibitive finish. Delivery is expected within 14 calendar days of order receipt. Bids are requested on four line items: the prefabricated booth, delivery, disconnection and relocation, and installation with electrical connection. Pricing must be firm for 30 days from bid opening; shipping is F.O.B. destination with all freight, handling, fuel surcharges, and delivery fees included in quoted prices.
The State reserves the right to award based on lowest line-item bid, lowest total, or any combination considering lowest price, ability and qualifications, delivery schedule, and past performance. Written questions are due July 17, 2026, with an addendum posted by July 20. Bid evaluation runs August 3–11, with notice of award expected September 4, 2026. The contract commences upon execution and continues through full delivery and installation.
