About this opportunity
The Columbus Consolidated Government (CCG) in Georgia is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to pre-qualify contractors for storm sewer rehabilitation projects using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and centrifugally cast cementitious or geopolymer lining (CC). The initial project includes the installation of approximately 5,100 feet of CIPP and 2,500 feet of CC in varying pipe sizes and materials throughout the Muscogee County and Columbus City jurisdictions. CCG seeks to pre-qualify a minimum of three contractors to bid on this initial project and future storm sewer rehabilitation projects, with the length, diameter, and scope to be determined at CCG's discretion. The RFQ outlines detailed technical and experience requirements, including minimum footage installations using specific CIPP and CC products, superintendent experience, and self-performance of at least 60% of the work. Responses are due by April 5, 2024 at 5:00 PM Eastern.
The RFQ does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. No information is provided regarding incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure and technology integration requirements. The RFQ also does not specify any award values or budget ranges for the initial or future projects.
