About this opportunity

The City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management is soliciting bids through a two-phase competitive sealed bid process for OEM parts, equipment, and services to maintain, repair, and replace centrifuges from Alfa Laval (Aldec), Andritz, and Flottweg installed across city facilities, with a prequalification phase opening July 23, 2026.

The procurement is structured as a prequalification phase followed by a formal IFB. During prequalification, vendors must demonstrate minimum firm experience and qualified key personnel capable of delivering manufacturer-certified or authorized service and parts. The scope spans six groups organized by manufacturer and miscellaneous categories, with parts organized and specified within the statement of work.

The awardee must supply original or manufacturer-approved parts only, accompanied by vendor-provided certifications and quality assurance testing/inspections. All materials must comply with OSHA and Georgia OSHA standards. Vendors must provide the original manufacturer's warranty and guarantee all materials against defects for a minimum of 12 months from acceptance. The vendor bears the cost of quality assurance provisions, including sampling, plant/facility inspections, and independent testing if the City elects to conduct it. Vendors must indemnify the City against claims related to patented materials or processes and reimburse the City within 30 days for any plant inspection visits conducted after purchase order assignment.

A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed separately to provide additional details and answer vendor questions. No estimated contract value, incumbent contractor, evaluation criteria weighting, or specific timeline beyond the July 23 prequalification opening is provided in the pre-advertisement notice.
