About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a procurement for power supply and Power over Ethernet (POE) switches for rail station infrastructure, with a specific solicitation reference number 2094079. The procurement is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, with bid submissions required through the Bonfire registration platform. Potential vendors must prepare detailed responses utilizing the in-browser BidTable window and carefully adhere to specified freight and delivery terms, which mandate FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in overall pricing. The procurement requires vendors to submit comprehensive quotes that include unit prices, quantities, and precise specifications for the power supply and POE switch equipment intended for rail station deployment. Critical submission deadlines are tightly scheduled, with the bid posting occurring on July 23, 2025, and all responses due by July 29, 2025. Vendors must comply with DART's stringent purchase order terms and conditions, which include specific invoicing requirements, Net 30 payment terms, and potential default termination clauses for failure to meet contractual obligations.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, the procurement appears to be open to qualified vendors capable of meeting technical specifications and contractual requirements. The purchase order terms include provisions for equal opportunity requirements and certifications regarding non-association with foreign terrorist organizations. Vendors must demonstrate capability to provide merchantable quality supplies suitable for rail station infrastructure, with the most favorable commercial warranties. The procurement does not specify a precise budget range or award value, but requires comprehensive technical documentation and pricing transparency. Potential bidders must be prepared to integrate with existing DART infrastructure and technology platforms, with a clear understanding that delivery timelines and performance are critical evaluation criteria. Legal jurisdiction for any disputes is explicitly defined as Dallas County, Texas, with all terms governed by Texas state law.
