About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a Power Supply (IC196, 24VDC, 150W) identified as contract opportunity 2098200. This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on March 5, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 13, 2026. Interested vendors must register with DART's Bonfire system to access complete project details, the bid table, and vendor response fields. The procurement requires all bids to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs fully included in the overall price; DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Delivery timelines are critical to this procurement, and the seller's failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and potential default termination by the Authority. Vendors must comply with commercial warranty requirements, equal opportunity employment provisions, and certifications regarding Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Israel boycott restrictions under Texas governing law. Payment will be made within Net 30 days from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing the purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The solicitation documentation does not explicitly reference set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, small businesses, or other protected classifications, though all vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment provisions. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or specific technology integration requirements are identified in the available procurement materials. The specific award value or budget range for this power supply procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity, and prospective bidders must access the complete Bonfire registration system to obtain pricing expectations and any other cost-related parameters. All standard DART purchase order terms and conditions apply, including provisions for inspection, payment processing, dispute resolution, and termination authority retained by the Contracting Officer.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
