About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is conducting a micro purchase for power adapters with a proposal due date of September 17, 2026. The maximum micro purchase threshold is $45,000, adjusted annually by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) from January 1, 2020, and rounded to the nearest $1,000.
The award will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Sellers must quote all items to be eligible for award consideration; the City reserves the right to award as a whole or by line item, whichever serves its best interest. Delivery shall not commence until notification is received from the department.
Quotes must be submitted electronically through PHLContracts and remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term for requirements contracts. All pricing must be quoted net of taxes; the City of Philadelphia is exempt from federal excise, transportation taxes, and Pennsylvania Sales and Use Tax. For requirements contracts, individual or aggregate purchase orders must remain below the $45,000 threshold, with quantities at the City's sole discretion.
Required insurance includes Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, General Liability of $500,000 per occurrence, and Automobile Liability of $300,000 per occurrence, with the City named as additional insured. Sellers must have an executed Consent & Authorization form in their vendor profile or attached to the submission; quotes without this documentation will not be considered. Compliance with Philadelphia tax ordinances, nondiscrimination provisions, and ethics requirements including Executive Order 10-16 on gifts to city employees is mandatory. Sellers must certify they are not indebted to the City for delinquent taxes or other obligations.
The contract term automatically terminates 365 days after the effective date without requiring notice. An optional LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form is available for submission.
