About this opportunity
The Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) has issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of Poultry Bacon. The purpose of this ITB is to purchase approximately 20,000 pounds of Turkey Bacon for delivery to the ODOC's Central Distribution Center in Salem, OR. Bidders must clearly identify all Goods bid, including brand, manufacturer, product number, nutritional facts, and ingredient list. ODOC will apply a 5% preference for Oregon Goods and Services, as well as a 5% preference for resident Bidders headquartered in Oregon. Bidders must submit samples upon request, and provide nutritional facts, import documentation, and Kosher certification, if applicable. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder per line item, group of items, or all items. Pricing must be per unit, with transportation, fuel surcharge, and delivery charges included. The bid closing date is May 28, 2024, and the Contract start date will be determined.
This ITB does not allow for protests. The successful Bidder must comply with all tax laws and provide a Federal Employee Identification Number or Social Security Number. ODOC may order less than the indicated quantity and may negotiate a "Will Call" option with the successful Bidder. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and no information on incumbent vendors or current contractors is provided. The budget range for this procurement is not disclosed.
