A mandatory walkthrough is scheduled for November 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the East Entrance to Poucher Hall, where potential contractors can assess the project parameters and constraints. Vendor participation is contingent upon registration with the New York State Department of Labor, with no specific set-aside designations mentioned in the procurement documents. The contract appears to be open to qualified masonry and restoration contractors capable of executing complex facade repair work. The electronic submission process through e-builder indicates a preference for technologically capable contractors with experience in higher education facility maintenance. Bidders will need to demonstrate technical proficiency, compliance with state labor regulations, and the ability to complete the comprehensive facade restoration within the prescribed 55-day timeline. The procurement is specifically located in Oswego County, New York, and targets the restoration of a specific building on the SUNY Oswego campus.
