About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of a Potentiometer Controller Master, BI Technologies model #NL6673 (item #2098244). This is a purchase order for supplies that must be delivered to DART's specified destination location. The procurement was posted on March 11, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 18, 2026. Bidders must register in the BONFIRE system to access detailed specifications, the bid table, and supporting documentation, including the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and timely delivery is considered essential to the order, with failure to meet delivery schedules serving as grounds for rejection and potential default termination. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and paid 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. The seller must warrant that supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and comply with all product descriptions and specifications referenced in the purchase order.

The procurement documents do not indicate specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or women-owned enterprises, suggesting this is an open competitive procurement available to any qualified vendor meeting DART's requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The purchase order is governed by DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which incorporate compliance requirements including equal opportunity employment obligations and conflict of interest certifications, with Texas law and Dallas County venue applying to any disputes. The specific contract award value or budget range is not disclosed in the posted opportunity materials; vendors must prepare their submissions through the BONFIRE system to access the detailed bid table and project specifications necessary to submit a responsive proposal. All vendors should ensure their invoices include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals to facilitate payment processing.
