About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting competitive bids for the procurement of a POST, BUS STOP, UNISTRUT 10', 1-3/4" X 1-3/4", 12GA (.105") component, a specialized infrastructure item for bus stop installations. This procurement opportunity is posted by Dallas County, Texas, with a posting date of April 22, 2026, and a bid due date of April 29, 2026. Vendors must register with the BONFIRE system to access the complete bid details and bidding table. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timing and rates are essential contract elements, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with required documentation including purchase order number, item description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date.

While the solicitation documents do not explicitly indicate set-aside designations or restrictions limiting eligible bidders to specific business categories such as disadvantaged enterprises, women-owned businesses, or minority-owned enterprises, all vendors must comply with DART's standard contract compliance requirements, including equal opportunity provisions and certifications regarding terrorist organization affiliations and Israel boycott restrictions. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The procurement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and the contracting officer retains authority to make written changes to the order with equitable adjustments available for documented cost or schedule impacts if claimed within 30 days of change receipt. The specific award value or budget range for this purchase is not disclosed in the posted opportunity materials, though payment obligations are limited to accepted deliveries or completed work.
