About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity, identified as PORT, DATA, HIGH SPEED | 2097095, is a procurement initiative issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas. The solicitation was posted on December 15, 2025, with proposals due by December 22, 2025. Potential vendors must register through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and project specifications. Interested parties are required to use FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs incorporated into the overall pricing. DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery requirements may result in order rejection or default termination. The procurement process mandates that invoices be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment terms are consistently Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice or purchase order receipt.

While specific details about set-aside designations or organizational restrictions are not explicitly outlined in the provided documentation, the procurement follows standard municipal contracting protocols. Vendors must comply with equal employment opportunity practices, certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations, and verify non-boycott of Israel. The purchase order terms indicate that all contractual matters will be governed by Texas law, with dispute resolution venues located in Dallas County. The document suggests that DART maintains flexibility in terminating purchase orders for default or convenience, providing robust protections for the transit authority. Although specific award values or budget ranges are not disclosed in the available materials, the comprehensive terms and conditions indicate a structured, professional procurement approach typical of large metropolitan transit agencies. Potential vendors should carefully review the full Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to understand the complete scope of contractual expectations and requirements.
