About this opportunity

The Maryland Department of Health Office of Construction and Material Procurement is requesting proposals for additional Cisco networking hardware and services under the existing Hardware and Associated Equipment and Services 2012 master contract (060B2490022) through a Purchase Order Request for Proposal (PORFP) designated as a Small Business Reserve procurement, with proposals due July 13, 2026 and questions due July 7, 2026.

Eligibility is strictly limited to two criteria: (1) Master Contractors currently awarded under Contract 060B2490022, and (2) Certified Small Businesses meeting Maryland's statutory small business requirements. Only bids from entities holding both qualifications will be considered for award. Bidders must submit a current Letter of Award with their proposals.

The scope encompasses Cisco networking equipment across six functional areas — microcomputers/PCs/servers with peripherals (FA I), printers and peripherals (FA II), network communication equipment (FA III), installation and training services (FA IV), manufacturer's extended warranty (FA V), and security/cameras with peripherals (FA VI). The bill of materials specifies a Cisco Catalyst 9350 48-port switch and a Cisco Catalyst 9400 Series 48-port switch with associated modules, power supplies, software licenses, Cisco Spaces Advantage licenses, Switching Advantage licenses, network modules, stacking and power cables, software images, storage devices, and various accessories. Service durations range from 2 to 36 months; estimated lead times span 6 to 18 days by line item. The pricing term is structured on a 36-month initial basis for most line items.

Performance location is 201 W Preston Street SS1, Baltimore, Maryland 21201. Pricing must remain valid for at least 90 days following the bid due date. Bidders must provide estimated ship dates and lead times for each item, screenshots of manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP), and manufacturer letters of authorization if requested. A zero percent MBE goal applies to installation and training services. Evaluation prioritizes conformance to specifications, lowest bid, and hardware master contractor status.
