The project encompasses fire protection, mechanical, and electrical work, with the General Construction Contractor serving as the lead prime contractor. A pre-bid conference and site visit is scheduled for July 2, 2025, at 10 AM in the Campus Success Center's Multipurpose Room, which is recommended but not mandatory for potential bidders. Questions regarding the project must be submitted via the PennBid "Ask a Question" feature, with responses and potential addenda distributed electronically to registered bidders.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the procurement documentation, the project is located in Butler County and involves a state university system procurement. The bid is open to qualified contractors capable of completing the comprehensive fit-out project, with registration on PennBid being the primary qualification mechanism. No specific incumbent vendor information or existing infrastructure integration requirements are mentioned in the documentation. The procurement appears to be a competitive bidding process with an emphasis on comprehensive construction capabilities.
