About this opportunity
The City of Neptune Beach is requesting sealed bids for the installation of mechanical, manual roll-down storm shutters at its Police Department and Public Works facilities, with bids due August 12, 2026.
The scope covers shutters for two coastal facilities: Police Department at 200 Lemon Street and Public Works Facilities at 2010 Forest Avenue, both in Neptune Beach. The shutters must be manual (non-motorized), constructed of materials resistant to salt-air corrosion, and designed for low maintenance. Installation must comply with Florida Building Code and 130 mph wind-zone code requirements. The proximity to the ocean and exposure to extreme coastal weather and regular salt spray drive the corrosion-resistance specification.
No estimated contract value, contract term, evaluation criteria, pre-bid meeting, question deadline, or incumbent contractor is identified in the solicitation notice.
