About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for logbooks to support its Traction Power Substation operations in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement requires vendors to supply 80 At-A-Glance Standard Diary Daily Reminder 2026 logbooks (SKU Number: SD3871326) in a single shipment. These logbooks will be used by DART's Traction Electrification Systems Department to document all maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities performed at Traction Power Substations throughout the light rail network, with the primary objective of maintaining trend data and supporting safety auditing requirements mandated by TXDOT and other regulatory bodies. Vendors must register through the Bonfire system to access complete project details and bid tables, with a posting date of April 27, 2026, and a submission deadline of May 6, 2026. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept alternative freight arrangements such as FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Timely delivery is essential to the contract, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for order rejection and default termination by the Authority. Payment will be made on Net 30 terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals; invoices will be paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later.

The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular classes of businesses, nor is a disadvantaged enterprise program designation mentioned. Vendors are required to certify that they do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and must agree not to boycott Israel, consistent with state procurement requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. Sellers must provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality, suitability for intended use, and compliance with product descriptions and specifications, and are prohibited from assigning the purchase order without prior written consent from DART. All disputes arising from this procurement are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. The specific award value or budget range for this purchase order is not disclosed in the posted opportunity documentation.
