About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a male straight blade 125V plug (item number 2097775). This is a straightforward purchase order for electrical supplies with a submission deadline of February 5, 2026, with the opportunity posted on January 29, 2026. Vendors must submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, accessing the BidTable to review project details and enter their responses. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The seller warrants that supplies will be of merchantable quality, suitable for their intended use, and compliant with all specifications referenced in the purchase order. Delivery timelines are critical to this procurement, with the seller's failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination by the Authority. Vendors should anticipate Net 30 payment terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment issued 30 days from receipt of invoice or receipt of order, whichever is later.
The procurement documents provided do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for particular organization types; however, all sellers must comply with Texas law, certify compliance with the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list, and affirm that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. No incumbent vendor information, current contractor details, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the available documentation. The specific award value or budget range for this purchase order is not disclosed in the posted materials. Interested vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section to understand all contractual obligations, including provisions for changes, equitable adjustment claims (which must be asserted within 30 days of receiving a change order), and termination for default procedures that grant the contracting officer authority to make written modifications to the order.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
