About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity is issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) for a specific procurement involving PIN, SHEAR, GATEKEEPER, (RH + LH) components for project 63-090-054, SE-1 LINE. This procurement is located within Dallas County, Texas, with a posted date of October 6, 2025, and a critical submission deadline of October 9, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access complete bid details and must submit proposals adhering to specific freight and delivery terms, including FOB Destination shipping. The procurement requires vendors to include freight costs within their overall pricing, with DART emphasizing that delivery timing and rates are essential contract elements. All submissions must comply with DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include detailed invoicing requirements, specifically submitting invoices to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's stringent contractual requirements. The terms and conditions document includes provisions for equal opportunity employment and specific vendor certifications, suggesting potential restrictions or preferences. The contract includes standard payment terms of Net 30, meaning vendors will be compensated 30 days from invoice or order receipt. The procurement allows for potential termination for default if sellers fail to meet specified performance provisions, indicating DART's commitment to high-quality vendor performance. While no specific award value or budget range is provided in the available documentation, vendors should anticipate a comprehensive evaluation process that scrutinizes technical capabilities, compliance with specified terms, and ability to meet precise delivery and quality standards. Interested vendors must carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to fully understand the comprehensive requirements and expectations of this contract opportunity.
