About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity, identified as PIN 2097252, is a procurement issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, seeking to acquire a pin, brake, and disc unit. The procurement requires potential vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bidding information. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, adhering to DART's specific delivery requirements. The procurement emphasizes that time and delivery rates are critical, with potential default termination if delivery schedules are not met. Interested vendors must submit comprehensive bids by December 30, 2025, with invoices requiring specific documentation including purchase order number, item number, descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Bids must be submitted electronically, with payment terms set at Net 30 from the later of invoice or order receipt date.

The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or specific restrictions on responding organizations. However, the terms and conditions include equal opportunity provisions and require vendor certifications related to foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts. Vendors must comply with Texas law, with any legal venue situated in Dallas County. The contract includes provisions preventing vendors from assigning the order or associated monies without prior written consent from the contracting officer. While no specific budget range is provided, the procurement indicates a focus on commercial-grade components with required warranties confirming merchantable quality and suitability for intended purposes. Vendors must ensure their proposed products comply with all product descriptions and specifications referenced in the purchase order, and they must be prepared to meet DART's stringent delivery and performance standards.
