About this opportunity
My Health My Resources of Tarrant County (MHMR), a local mental health authority in Texas, is requesting proposals for pharmacy services covering medication management, inventory management, utilization review, reporting, and clinical services across multiple on-site locations, with proposals due November 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at MHMR's procurement office in Fort Worth.
Respondents must be licensed by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and demonstrate experience with behavioral health populations and Medicaid/Medicare programs. The scope includes on-site pharmacy services at five primary locations, intermediate care facility services, remote service delivery, electronic health record integration, medication delivery, staff consultations, and patient education. Pricing must specify Usual & Customary rates with discounts for generic and brand medications through central fill and retail pharmacy networks, plus separate dispensing fees and Patient Assistance Program administration fees.
MHMR's current utilization spans approximately $1.3 to $1.4 million in annual pharmacy expenditures and 91,000 to 92,000 prescriptions annually, serving behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disability, substance use disorder, and related programs across over 75,000 annual patients. The initial contract term is two years with six optional one-year renewal periods. MHMR reserves the right to award all services to a single provider or distribute services among multiple qualified vendors based on best value determination and may negotiate fees with respondents proposing outside the expected range.
Evaluation weighs overall program concept at 35 percent, project management methodology at 20 percent, past performance at 15 percent, cost at 15 percent, financial condition at 10 percent, and company history and description at 5 percent. Questions were due October 8, 2026; MHMR responded to questions on October 15, 2026. The anticipated award date is contingent upon Committee and Board approval.
