Supply is provided as needed against estimated annual quantities of five to fifty units per item, packaged in 55-gallon drums, 40-pound bags, 2.5-gallon jugs, or cases of smaller containers. Standard orders deliver within five working days and emergency orders within 48 hours to 1611 Shell Road, Chesapeake, Virginia, during 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. operating hours, Monday through Friday, FOB Destination.
Bidders must provide proof of Virginia State Corporation Commission authorization (or equivalent exemption), certification of immigration-law compliance, product data sheets and labels, references, and litigation disclosure. The initial term is one year from the effective date, with four one-year renewal options upon mutual written agreement. The City reserves the right to make multiple awards to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders. Unit-cost pricing must remain firm for one year. Price escalation may be considered only at the end of the initial term and upon renewal, limited to verified material or labor changes reflected in the Producer Price Index for Agricultural and Commercial Pesticides, with at least 90 days' advance notice required.
Bids are due electronically through the City's OpenGov E-Procurement Portal by December 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., with bid opening via Zoom at 3:00 p.m. the same day.
