About this opportunity
The State of Maine Department of Administrative and Financial Services, Division of Procurement Services, is requesting quotations on personal radiation detectors with holsters and in-person training for the Department of Defense, Veterans & Emergency Management, with quotations due January 3, 2018 by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. A Maine business preference applies to bids within 5 percent of the lowest cost bid submitted by a non-Maine business.
The scope comprises ten Thermo Fisher Scientific RadEye SPRD-GN pocket-sized spectroscopic personal radiation detectors with CLYC detectors for gamma and neutron detection, ten matching holsters (Model 425067046), and one in-person, one-day training session at the Maine Emergency Management Agency office covering equipment operation with PowerPoint materials for participants. Cost quotations must be itemized with product data sheets and warranty information. Delivery is FOB Destination with shipping charges included in the bid price.
Quotations must be submitted through Maine's AdvantageME electronic procurement system (Vendor Self Service) and remain firm for 180 days from bid opening. The State is tax-exempt and requests quotations without tax inclusion. The State reserves the right to make award decisions based on best value considerations, which may include delivery timeframe and specification conformance in addition to the Maine business preference evaluation. No best and final offers will be requested. Payment terms are net 30 upon receipt of an accurate invoice referencing the State contract number and correct pricing.
