About this opportunity

The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) in Maryland is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive Personal Information Removal Services contract designed to protect judicial officers and their dependents from privacy risks. The procurement seeks a technology-driven solution capable of continuous monitoring and rapid removal of sensitive personal information across online platforms, public databases, artificial intelligence platforms, and data broker sites. Prospective offerors must provide a robust service that ensures complete and persistent removal of personal information, maintaining the highest privacy protection standards while generating detailed query reports and actionable data summaries. The contract opportunity was posted on January 13, 2025, with proposal submissions due by February 3, 2025. Evaluation criteria are expected to focus on the comprehensiveness of the proposed monitoring and removal technologies, the vendor's ability to maintain persistent information suppression, and the depth of reporting capabilities. The solicitation emphasizes proactive and reactive strategies for protecting judicial personnel's personal information from unauthorized digital exposure. There is no guaranteed minimum usage specified in the contract opportunity.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor eligibility were explicitly mentioned in the provided contract documentation. The procurement appears open to technology vendors specializing in privacy protection and information removal services with demonstrated capabilities in comprehensive digital information management. While no incumbent vendors were identified, the contract suggests a sophisticated technological solution is required, which may necessitate advanced cybersecurity and data privacy expertise. The lack of a guaranteed minimum usage implies potential flexibility in contract implementation and suggests the AOC is seeking a scalable solution that can adapt to evolving privacy protection needs. Although no specific budget range was disclosed, the complexity of the required service suggests a potentially significant investment in advanced privacy protection technologies and continuous monitoring capabilities.
