About this opportunity

Clayton State University, operating under Georgia's State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), has issued an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to procure specialized laboratory equipment. The procurement seeks a single qualified supplier to provide two Percival Scientific Plant Growth Chambers, one Percival Scientific Q30 Additive CO2 Control with 2000 ppm Sensor, and one Percival Scientific Q33 CO2 Removal System (Scrubber). All specified equipment must be delivered to the Clayton County campus within 30 days of order receipt. The eRFQ process invites all qualified suppliers to submit responses for evaluation, with the preliminary results—including participating supplier names and evaluation results—to be publicly announced. The submission deadline for quotes is March 11, 2026, with the opportunity having been posted on March 5, 2026. Following the evaluation of all timely responses and resolution of any contract exceptions, final contract award(s) will be announced subject to the protest process.

The procurement document does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular organizational types, such as disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses, indicating that the opportunity is open to all qualified suppliers. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure requiring integration are referenced in this procurement. The eRFQ does not disclose a specific budget range or award value, leaving the contract amount subject to supplier pricing in their submitted quotes. Interested vendors should note the compressed timeline between the posting date and due date and ensure their responses comprehensively address all technical specifications and delivery requirements outlined in the complete eRFQ documentation.
