About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of masking paper, specifically 12-inch wide, steel gray colored tape in 1,000-foot rolls. This is a straightforward goods procurement with a registration deadline and bid submission deadline of February 10, 2026, with the opportunity posted on February 3, 2026. Vendors must register through the BONFIRE system to access the complete bid details and response fields, which are located in an in-browser BidTable that requires scrolling to view all project specifications and submission requirements. The deliverable is clearly defined as masking paper meeting the specified dimensions and color, with delivery terms requiring FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price. Key requirements include strict adherence to delivery schedules and timelines, as the Authority explicitly states that time and rate of deliveries are of the essence, and failure to meet specified delivery requirements may result in rejection and default termination. All bids must be submitted in compliance with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern acceptance of supplies, inspection procedures, and contractor performance obligations.

The procurement documentation does not indicate any specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or restrictions limiting vendor eligibility based on organizational type. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, with invoices required to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include specific documentation such as the purchase order number, item number, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All vendors must certify compliance with Texas requirements, including verification that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list and that they do not boycott Israel. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the available documentation; interested vendors should consult the full BidTable and supporting documents accessible through the BONFIRE registration portal for complete pricing and contract details.
