About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of Panel E and Plymetal replacement floor panel C-unit components through this purchase order opportunity posted on March 18, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 31, 2026. The specific deliverable consists of replacement floor panels for transit authority equipment, with vendors required to submit pricing on an FOB Destination basis with all freight costs included in the quoted price. Delivery timelines are critical to contract performance, and vendors must strictly adhere to specified delivery schedules, as failure to meet these requirements may result in rejection and default termination of the order. All sellers are responsible for conducting inspections and tests to verify conformance with DART specifications and drawings prior to delivery. The procurement documentation available for download includes comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions that govern all aspects of the contract, including payment, delivery, performance standards, and dispute resolution procedures. No specific quantities, site visits, or bidders' conferences are detailed in the available documentation, and potential bidders should access the complete project details and vendor response fields through the Bonfire registration system's in-browser BidTable by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process.

The contract terms establish Net 30 payment conditions, with invoices due 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes must be included in the pricing submission. Vendors must comply with DART's standard contractual provisions, including commercial warranties of merchantable quality, equal opportunity requirements, and federal certifications such as verification of non-boycott of Israel and exclusion from the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with Foreign Terrorist Organization contracts. DART is exempt from Texas sales and use taxes, and this exemption must be reflected in vendor pricing. The documentation does not specify particular set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, incumbent vendors, or restricted categories of eligible respondents, nor does it identify current contractors or existing infrastructure requirements for integration. No specific award value or budget range is provided in the posted opportunity materials, and interested vendors should consult the complete supporting documentation and BidTable for additional details regarding pricing expectations and contract value parameters.
