About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a specialized procurement of temperature labels, specifically a pack of 30 non-reversible, 8-point horizontal temperature labels with a temperature range of 140°F to 210°F. The procurement is specific to Dallas County, Texas, and is identified by solicitation number 2097215. The procurement will be conducted through the Bonfire registration platform, which requires vendors to initiate a "Prepare Your Submission" process to access detailed bidding information. The contract opportunity was posted on December 19, 2025, with a response deadline of December 26, 2025. Key procurement terms include FOB Destination shipping requirements, with freight costs to be included in the overall pricing. DART emphasizes that delivery timing is critical, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with payment terms set at Net 30 days from invoice or order receipt.
The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. Vendors must comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include provisions for equal employment opportunity, conflict of interest certifications, and compliance with Texas law. The terms require sellers to certify non-association with Foreign Terrorist Organizations and include a prohibition on boycotting Israel during contract performance. While specific award values are not detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be for a standard supply contract for temperature monitoring labels. Vendors must ensure their products meet merchantable quality standards and comply with all specified technical requirements. The contract terms indicate that DART reserves the right to make unilateral modifications to orders through written change notices, with potential equitable adjustments to contract pricing or delivery schedules if such changes impact the seller's costs or performance timeline.
