About this opportunity
The City of Douglasville, Georgia is soliciting proposals for vendors to provide an on-site employee health clinic to serve its employees, dependents, and retirees. The City is seeking vendors that specialize in offering high-quality and cost-effective clinics for employers of comparable size, with the goal of reducing the City's overall healthcare costs through improved employee health outcomes and wellness initiatives. The clinic would provide a range of services including preventive care, sick visits, annual physicals, lab draws, minor procedures, urgent care, and drug screenings. The RFP outlines staffing requirements, reporting and integration needs, and other operational details. Proposals are due by July 15, 2024, and the initial contract period will be for one year with options to renew for up to three additional one-year terms.
The City's current medical plan is self-funded through Anthem, effective January 1, 2024, covering approximately 453 lives. The selected vendor will be expected to closely coordinate with the City's existing benefits and wellness programs. The RFP requires proposers to provide detailed pricing information, implementation plans, and evidence of their experience operating similar on-site clinics, particularly for other public sector clients. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and the City has not identified any incumbent vendors or current contractors.
