About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for Oil Coolant 50/50 Dex-Cool under contract opportunity 2097591 in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement involves the supply of automotive coolant product with delivery and supply obligations to be fulfilled according to DART's specifications. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors are explicitly prohibited from quoting FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The Authority emphasizes that time and rate of deliveries are essential to contract performance, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and contain the purchase order number, item number, product description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All supplies must be of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, compliant with product specifications, and covered by the most favorable commercial warranties provided to any customer. The bid submission deadline is January 28, 2026, with registration on the BONFIRE platform required to access the detailed bid table and project specifications. Payment terms are Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, unless alternative written terms are agreed upon.

The contract opportunity documentation does not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or limitations on the types of organizations eligible to respond to this procurement. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, and no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the posted opportunity. The contract is subject to Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and the Authority is exempt from state and local sales and use taxes, meaning any such taxes appearing on invoices will be deducted from payment amounts. The Contracting Officer retains discretionary authority to terminate the order for convenience or default, and equitable adjustments for change orders must be claimed within 30 days of receipt to be considered.
