About this opportunity
Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is requesting quotations for furnishing and installation of oil and grease overhead dispensing meters on a one-time basis under RFQ #F26-0167/BW, with responses due September 25, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. local time. SBE preference applies: SBE-certified vendors receive preference within 10% of the lowest responsive, responsible quote. Local preference also applies to quoters with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades.
A mandatory pre-quote conference and site inspection is required under Term and Condition #18; questions are due September 8, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. All quoters and their subcontractors must be registered in the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system prior to contract award.
Pricing must be submitted as single, fixed unit prices with firm quotes for 90 days from submission and throughout the initial and any subsequent contract terms. The scope requires furnishing and installation of overhead dispensing meters; detailed specifications are in the RFQ document. Compliance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage standards applies if the work is classified as construction. Quoters must provide certifications for drug-free workplace status, human trafficking affidavits, debarment and suspension status, E-Verify employment eligibility verification, and diversity/equity/inclusion compliance, along with complete litigation history disclosures.
Schedule 1 (subcontractors and SBE designation) and Schedule 2/2(a) (work performed by each subcontractor) must accompany the quotation. If SBE goals are required, these schedules are mandatory for responsiveness. Amendment No. 1 modifies original solicitation terms; prospective quoters must review both the original RFQ and the amendment. Contact Bridget Williams at (561) 616-6817 or bwilliams@pbc.gov. Responses may be submitted via fax or email to Palm Beach County Procurement Department, 50 South Military Trail, Suite 110, West Palm Beach, FL 33415-3199.
