About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking bids for the procurement of Oil, 80W90, Gear (Item Number 2098125) through a purchase order process in Dallas County, Texas. This is a commodity procurement for industrial lubricant products meeting specified grade and viscosity standards. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price; DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery terms are critical to this procurement, and the time and rate of deliveries are essential to the order, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules subject to rejection and default termination. Sellers must warrant that supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and comply with all product descriptions and specifications referenced in the order. The solicitation was posted on February 25, 2026, with a bid due date of March 4, 2026, allowing potential vendors seven calendar days to prepare and submit responses. Interested parties must register with the BONFIRE platform to access complete details and the BidTable, which contains project specifications and vendor response fields accessible through the "Prepare Your Submission" process.
The procurement documents do not specify particular set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendors, or award value ranges based on the information provided. Payment terms are structured on a Net 30 basis, with invoices due to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment calculated from the later of either 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt. All vendors are required to certify compliance with state prohibitions on contracts with foreign terrorist organizations and boycotts of Israel. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and DART reserves the right to terminate orders for default due to nonperformance or for convenience when in the agency's best interest. The complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF is available for download in the Supporting Documentation section and establishes the comprehensive contractual framework governing this procurement.
