About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of oil, specifically 80W90 gear oil, through a competitive bidding process identified as solicitation 2097160. The procurement is situated within Dallas County, Texas, and requires potential vendors to complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bidding information. Interested suppliers must submit their proposals by December 24, 2025, adhering to strict delivery and performance requirements. The solicitation mandates that all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must understand that delivery timing and rates are considered essential to the contract. DART will evaluate submissions based on compliance with specified technical requirements, pricing, and ability to meet delivery schedules, with potential for rejection or default termination if performance standards are not met.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly stated in the provided documentation, vendors must meet several critical compliance conditions. Suppliers must certify they do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's Foreign Terrorist Organization list and affirm they do not boycott Israel. The contract includes standard commercial warranties requiring merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, with payment terms set at Net 30 from invoice receipt. Invoices must be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, containing detailed information including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Though a specific contract value is not disclosed, the procurement follows standard DART purchase order terms and conditions, with the Authority reserving the right to make written modifications to the order and negotiate equitable adjustments to pricing or delivery schedules as needed.

Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
