Qualified proposers must hold current Florida licenses in occupational therapy, physical therapy, or related assistant certifications and provide copies of their credentials with their proposals. The typical staffing model consists of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) with therapists expected to travel to and serve multiple schools weekly, typically 3-4 schools in proximity to one another. Proposers will be evaluated on three primary criteria: Approach/Methodology (35 points), Experience and Qualifications (30 points), and Cost (35 points), with pricing submitted using a provided quotation form that includes hourly rates for Occupational Therapist, Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, Physical Therapist, and Physical Therapist Assistant positions, along with stated percentage increases for each renewal year. The proposal submission deadline is April 2, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., with public opening of proposals scheduled for the same date and time at 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986. An Evaluation Committee meeting is scheduled for April 21-22, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. at the same location, open to public attendance.
No set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information are specified in the procurement documents. All contracted staff must comply with the Jessica Lunsford Act requirements, including fingerprinting and level 2 background screenings, and the vendor must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage with General Liability limits of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and Professional Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence. The School Board will provide office materials and supplies but does not furnish personal computers or district email for contracted staff. The initial contract period is two years with three additional one-year renewal options available at the same terms and conditions, allowing for up to five years of potential service delivery. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available procurement documents. Interested proposers should note that no pre-proposal meeting is scheduled, and all submissions must be sealed proposals delivered by the stated deadline.
