About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for O'RING, STD. size 361, measuring 5.975" plus or minus 0.037, with a quantity of 4 per car, identified by solicitation number 2097206. The contract is specifically located within Dallas County, Texas, and was posted on December 18, 2025, with proposals due by December 19, 2025. Vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bidding information and project specifications. Freight terms are explicitly FOB Destination, requiring vendors to include shipping costs in their overall pricing. Delivery terms are critically important, with DART emphasizing that failure to meet specified delivery timelines could result in order rejection and potential default termination. Potential vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including specific documentation such as purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The procurement opportunity appears to have standard commercial participation guidelines without specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. Vendors must comply with several key requirements, including providing the most favorable commercial warranty terms, certifying they are not on the Texas Comptroller's Foreign Terrorist Organization list, and verifying they do not boycott Israel. DART's payment terms are Net 30, meaning invoices will be processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. While specific award value is not detailed in the provided documentation, the solicitation suggests this is a standard parts procurement for transit vehicle maintenance. Vendors must be prepared to meet rigorous inspection and testing protocols, with responsibility for ensuring product conformance to technical specifications prior to delivery. The contract terms grant DART's Contracting Officer significant discretion in order management, including the ability to make unilateral changes and resolve disputes.
