About this opportunity
The state and local contract opportunity is issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, seeking to procure an NVR5006 I5 6500TE server with specific technical specifications. The procurement involves a 2x4GB memory configuration and dual 2TB SSD drives, with a total system configuration requiring precise technical requirements. The solicitation was posted on December 9, 2025, with a response deadline of December 16, 2025, and requires mandatory registration through the Bonfire platform to access complete bidding details. Vendors must submit their proposals through the in-browser BidTable window, adhering to strict delivery and shipping guidelines that mandate FOB Destination terms with freight costs included in the overall pricing. The procurement emphasizes critical delivery timelines, with DART reserving the right to reject and terminate the order if delivery schedules are not met. Potential bidders must carefully review the detailed Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which outline comprehensive requirements for submission, including specific invoice documentation and submission protocols.
While the solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions, vendors must comply with multiple regulatory requirements, including equal opportunity provisions and certification that they do not boycott Israel. The contract appears to be open to qualified technology vendors capable of meeting the precise server configuration specifications. Though a specific award value is not disclosed, the procurement suggests a technology infrastructure enhancement project for DART's operational needs. Invoicing and payment terms are clearly defined as Net 30, with invoices required to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and include detailed line-item documentation. Vendors must provide comprehensive commercial warranties covering product merchantability, fitness for intended use, and compliance with all referenced product specifications. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with any potential legal venue situated in Dallas County, indicating a localized procurement process focused on meeting the specific technological requirements of the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority.
