About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a procurement for a specific bike rack component, specifically a nut, stopper, jam, and upper 5/16-18 part referenced as bid 2094815. The procurement opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, with a bid submission deadline of September 10, 2025. Vendors must register through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and submit responses. The procurement requires vendors to comply with specific freight and delivery terms, including FOB Destination shipping with freight costs incorporated into the overall pricing. Vendors must understand that delivery timing is critical, and failure to meet specified delivery rates could result in order rejection or termination. All submissions must include comprehensive documentation, including purchase order number, item specifications, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

No specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements were explicitly outlined in the provided documentation. The procurement appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's stringent terms and conditions. Payment terms are standard at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. While no specific budget range was disclosed, vendors should prepare detailed pricing that includes all associated costs. The procurement is governed by Texas state law, with any legal disputes to be resolved in Dallas County. Vendors must also demonstrate compliance with various legal provisions, including non-discrimination practices, tax exemption protocols, and certifications regarding business practices. The complete terms and conditions are available in the attached 112KB PDF document, which vendors are expected to review thoroughly before submission.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
