About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is soliciting bids for the purchase of nuts, M8 fasteners, ESNA products, hex fasteners, stainless steel fasteners, and suspension springs under Purchase Order 2097609. This procurement involves the supply of industrial fasteners and mechanical components for transit operations and maintenance activities. Bids were posted on January 21, 2026, with a submission deadline of January 28, 2026. Vendors must submit responses through the BONFIRE registration system by accessing the in-browser BidTable and completing the "Prepare Your Submission" process. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the quoted price, and timely delivery is essential to the contract, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors are required to submit three copies of invoices to APInvoices@dart.org with all required documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, and must comply with all commercial warranty requirements guaranteeing merchantable quality and suitability for intended use.

The procurement requires vendors to comply with equal employment opportunity requirements, certify that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel, and verify that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies contracting with foreign terrorist organizations. All purchase orders are subject to DART's comprehensive Terms and Conditions, which are available in the Supporting Documentation section and establish strict performance and compliance standards. Payment terms are Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date, and DART retains exemption from Texas sales and use taxes. The specific award value and budget range for this procurement have not been disclosed in the available documentation. Disputes arising from the purchase order will be resolved through the Contracting Officer with appeal rights to DART, and all agreements are governed by Texas law with venue established in Dallas County.
