About this opportunity
This procurement opportunity, posted by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas on May 13, 2026, involves the purchase of nuts (part number 10-24, SSTL, slotted) under purchase order solicitation 2098972. Bidders must register with the BONFIRE system to access complete project details and the bid table, which can be found by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process and locating the in-browser BidTable window. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Timely delivery is critical to this procurement, with delivery times and rates considered essential to the order; failure to meet specified delivery schedules may result in rejection and default termination. The submission deadline for this opportunity is May 20, 2026, providing vendors with one week from the posting date to prepare and submit their responses. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment expected within 30 days of invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later.
The procurement opportunity summary does not explicitly identify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or restrictions on the types of organizations eligible to bid. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. Similarly, the specific award value or budget range for this purchase order is not disclosed in the posting information. Interested vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document (1-Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.pdf, 112KB) available in the supporting documentation section, as it contains additional contractual requirements and conditions governing this procurement.
