About this opportunity

A Georgia fire department is notifying intent to utilize a cooperative purchasing agreement for rescue equipment under the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) HGACBuy program, with the notice due by July 14, 2026.

The underlying master cooperative agreement is executed between H-GAC and Team Equipment, Inc., a Florida-based distributor, for indefinite-quantity/indefinite-delivery procurement of emergency medical, safety, and rescue equipment. The scope includes defibrillators, patient monitoring and transport equipment, medical kits, personal protective equipment, turnout gear, decontamination products, extrication tools, thermal imaging, drones, water rescue equipment, breathing apparatus, and related supplies. Team Equipment sources products through manufacturer catalogs including Air Systems, Ajax, Ampco, CMC, Flir Teledyne, Husqvarna Construction, Petzl, Sterling Rope, and Yates, with catalog-specific discounts off list price.

The master agreement runs from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2028. All products are delivered new, unused, and fully operational with standard manufacturer warranties. Team Equipment maintains general liability and product liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence and $500,000 property damage.

Pricing is manufacturer list price with negotiated discounts by catalog and product category. Team Equipment remits order processing charges to H-GAC within thirty calendar days or ten business days after customer payment, whichever is earlier, and submits quarterly transaction reports by the 30th day following each quarter. The contract incorporates standard federal compliance provisions including Buy America, prevailing wage, domestic preference, and environmental and nondiscrimination statutes where federal funding is used. HGACBuy members remain responsible for ensuring adequate competition and compliance with applicable funding agency requirements for individual purchases.
