About this opportunity

Texas A&M University is soliciting bids under ITB TAMU-ITB-26-5036 to establish master agreements with a pool of vendors for discount pricing on Magnetic and TransCore equipment, turnkey installation services, and 24/7 emergency maintenance and repair support for the university's Transportation Services department in College Station, Texas, with bids due June 30, 2026.

The scope encompasses on-site and off-site maintenance and repair services for parking facilities operated year-round, with vendors required to respond to emergency calls within four hours by telephone and provide on-site service within 24 hours. All deliveries are F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid and Allowed to College Station; orders placed by 2:00 p.m. are expected for next-day delivery seven days a week. Vendors must provide firm pricing for the full contract term, expressed as unit pricing discounts on Magnetic and TransCore equipment lines and hourly rates for installation (regular and after-hours periods) and maintenance or repair work (on-site and off-site). Vendors may propose maximum percentage increases for each renewal period, subject to Texas A&M's acceptance or negotiation. Vendors must maintain comprehensive insurance (commercial general liability and auto liability at $1 million each, umbrella liability at $5 million, and statutory workers' compensation), provide three references from similar projects within the past two years, and offer a one-year minimum warranty on all parts and accessories.

The estimated annual expenditure is $20,000 for informational purposes only. The master agreement commences September 1, 2026, for an initial one-year term with automatic renewal for successive one-year periods, not to exceed five years total. Texas A&M reserves the right to award to one or more vendors and to extend the agreement to other Texas State Agencies listed as Institutions of Higher Education. Payment terms are Net 30 upon receipt, acceptance, and an uncontested invoice. Vendors are responsible for all installation compliance, safety procedures, and property damage repair, and must adhere to the university's drug, tobacco, and alcohol-free campus policy.
