No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were mentioned in the procurement documents. Pine topwood is considered an alternate product that can be bid on but will not be used to determine the winning bidder. If the winning bidder chooses to bid on pine topwood, they will be expected to harvest all pine topwood within the contract specifications. The sale is mapped across multiple roads including Cypress Pond Rd, River Rd, Entrance Rd, Stoneler Rd, and Habitat Rd within the Lake Talquin State Forest. While no specific budget range was provided, the substantial timber volume suggests a potentially significant contract value. Bidders will need to demonstrate capability to harvest the specified timber types and volumes within the twelve-month contract period, with adherence to the detailed specifications outlined in the sale advertisement and accompanying map documents.
