Opportunity text
The Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), the metro Atlanta Area Agency on Aging (AAA), issues this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) and is the sole point of contact. This NOFA is for both single county services and multi-county/regional services. The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Division of Aging Services (DAS) has designated ARC as the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) for the 10 county Atlanta region. As such, ARC receives funds through the federal Older Americans Act; the Social Services Block Grant; and state-funded programs for older adults. These multiple fund sources are distributed to the AAA in a single Older Americans Act Multi-Funded Grant which funds the services to be provided through awards in response to this NOFA. The ARC AAA provides a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system for older adults and their caregivers through a combination of direct services and partnerships with community providers. ARC has the responsibility of developing an Area Plan on Aging which describes the aging service delivery system in detail. **GO TO https://atlantaregional.org/procurement/fy2027-2028-nofa-for-older-americans-act/ FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**
