About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking qualified vendors to supply a TSS Evaluation Unit Receiver through this procurement opportunity posted on March 16, 2026, with a response deadline of March 23, 2026. The specific scope of work, detailed specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules are accessible exclusively through DART's Bonfire registration system, which vendors must access to view the complete project requirements and submit their bids via the in-browser BidTable. All pricing submissions must be provided on an FOB Destination basis with freight costs included in the overall bid price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Delivery timelines and rates are considered essential contract elements, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules may result in order rejection and default termination by the Authority. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, and payment calculated as 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later. Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, provide commercial warranty coverage equal to the most favorable terms offered to any customer, and maintain compliance with equal employment opportunity commitments and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization relationships and Israel boycott prohibitions.
The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendor information, or explicit budget ranges within the available materials. However, all selected vendors must acknowledge and comply with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish the contractual framework governing product delivery, acceptance, performance obligations, and risk of loss provisions. The vendor assumes risk of loss until delivery and acceptance at the destination point unless loss results from DART's negligence. DART retains authority to make written changes to the order with equitable price or schedule adjustments, and either party may terminate the contract for convenience with payment limited to accepted deliverables prior to termination. Additional procurement details, evaluation criteria, and award value information are available through the Bonfire registration portal and supporting documentation section.
