About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for a specific resistor, frame 2, model 1654E46G02, with purchase order number 2097422. The contract opportunity was posted on January 9, 2026, with proposals due by January 21, 2026. Potential bidders must register through the Bonfire platform to access complete project details and submission requirements. Key procurement terms include FOB Destination shipping, with freight costs incorporated into the overall price, and strict delivery timeline expectations where failure to meet specified schedules could result in contract rejection or default termination. Evaluation criteria emphasize precise product specifications, timely delivery, and compliance with DART's detailed purchase order terms and conditions. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate, with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements were explicitly noted in the provided documentation, vendors must certify compliance with foreign terrorist organization restrictions and Israel boycott prohibitions. The contract is governed by Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. Vendors must warrant that supplied materials are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and compliant with product descriptions and specifications. The contract includes provisions allowing the Contracting Officer to make written changes, with potential equitable adjustments to contract price or delivery schedule, provided claims are asserted within 30 days of receiving a change order. Though a specific award value was not disclosed, the procurement appears focused on a specific technical component for DART's operational infrastructure.
