About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), operating under the jurisdiction of Dallas County, Texas, is soliciting competitive bids for the procurement of a new resistor, frame model 1654E46G01 (Item #2099008). The specific deliverable is a single resistor component with the designated frame specification. The procurement was posted on April 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of June 12, 2026. Vendors must register in the BONFIRE system to access complete project details and the bid table, which contains project specifications and vendor response fields. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and timely delivery is emphasized as essential to the order. The purchase order is subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, copies of which are available in the supporting documentation section. While specific evaluation criteria beyond delivery performance and pricing compliance are not detailed in the available information, vendors must demonstrate their ability to meet the delivery schedule and terms specified by DART.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted vendor categories based on the information provided. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The budget value and award amount for this resistor component procurement are not disclosed in the posting. Successful vendors must comply with DART's Net 30 payment terms and submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, including the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART reserves the right to terminate the order for default if the seller fails to perform any provisions within specified timeframes, and partial deliveries may be paid upon acceptance by the Authority.
