About this opportunity
The state and local contract opportunity is a procurement issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) for a NEW RESISTOR, FRAME 1 (Item Number 1654E46G01) located in Dallas County, Texas. The solicitation was posted on December 11, 2025, with proposals due by December 18, 2025. Potential vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid specifications. Vendors are required to submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall price. The procurement emphasizes strict adherence to delivery schedules, with time and delivery rates considered essential components of the order. All bids must comply with DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include comprehensive requirements for invoice submission, product specifications, and performance standards. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, including specific details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, vendors must certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and confirm they are not boycotting Israel. The procurement follows standard Net 30 payment terms, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. Although the exact award value is not specified, the contract appears to be for a specific resistor frame component with potential for default termination if vendor performance fails to meet specified requirements. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with legal venue situated in Dallas County. Vendors must ensure all products carry commercial warranties demonstrating merchantable quality appropriate for intended use and full compliance with product specifications. While no incumbent vendors are mentioned, the procurement suggests a technical procurement with specific engineering or transportation infrastructure requirements.
