About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a procurement for a new power supply and annunciator system, specifically referencing bid number 2094839, with proposals due on September 12, 2025. The contract opportunity involves the acquisition of a 24V FC power supply component, with precise technical specifications available through Bonfire registration. Vendors must complete the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access complete bid details and project requirements. DART mandates that all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, emphasizing that delivery timing and rates are critical to contract performance. Potential vendors must understand that failure to meet specified delivery timelines could result in order rejection and potential default termination. The procurement process requires thorough documentation, including triplicate invoice submissions containing specific details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The contract opportunity appears to be open to all qualified vendors, with no explicit set-aside designations mentioned in the available documentation. DART has established specific payment terms of Net 30, where invoices will be processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later. Vendors must comply with several key requirements, including demonstrating they do not conduct business with Foreign Terrorist Organizations and do not boycott Israel. The purchasing authority maintains significant discretion in contract administration, including the ability to terminate orders for vendor non-performance. While specific budget ranges are not disclosed, the technical nature of the power supply and annunciator system suggests this is a specialized procurement likely requiring vendors with demonstrated technical expertise in transit infrastructure electrical systems. Vendors must also be prepared to meet DART's rigorous compliance standards, including equal opportunity employment requirements and adherence to the detailed purchase order terms and conditions outlined in the accompanying documentation.
