About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a new power supply procurement (Opportunity No. 2097890), with a posted date of April 27, 2026, and a submission deadline of May 8, 2026. This purchase order procurement requires bidders to submit quotes through the BONFIRE registration system, where detailed project specifications and vendor response fields are accessible via an in-browser BidTable. Prospective vendors must ensure all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timeliness is critical to this procurement, as the specification of time and rate of deliveries is considered essential to the order, with vendor failure to meet delivery terms potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination. While the specific technical specifications and qualifications for the power supply are not detailed in the summary information provided, interested parties must access the complete procurement details and supporting documentation, including DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, through the BONFIRE platform by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process.
No information regarding set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor preferences has been disclosed in the available summary documentation. The procurement does not specify particular organizational qualifications, certifications, or disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) requirements in the materials provided. Similarly, no current contractor information, existing infrastructure specifications requiring integration, or technical integration requirements have been identified in this summary. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from either the invoice receipt date or purchase order receipt date, whichever is later, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing detailed line-item information. The specific award value or budget range for this power supply procurement has not been disclosed in the available documentation.
