About this opportunity

Wyoming Department of Administration and Information, Purchasing Section, is requesting bids on four new 850-cubic-centimeter snowmobiles for Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources, with bids due August 20, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time and questions due August 13, 2026. The solicitation specifies either Polaris Pro RMK or Ski-Doo Summit models — a brand-specific constraint driven by the Trails Program's operational need for proven reliability, parts availability, and customer support during constrained seasonal work windows.

All snowmobiles must be zero miles, with track lengths between 155 and 165 inches, and include mandatory options of tether, ice scratchers, spare belt, spare spark plugs, and cover. Delivery is to 125 Sunflower Street, Lander, Wyoming 82520. Bidders must quote per-unit pricing inclusive of delivery fees and Wyoming title and titling costs; all quotations must include acceptance period and delivery timeline specified by the bidder. No federal, state, county, or municipal taxes are included in quoted prices.

Wyoming Statute 9-2-3204(b)(iv)(G) preference applies. Bidders must obtain a resident certification number by the bid due date if applicable and submit Wyoming Certificates of Title made payable to Wyoming State Parks & Cultural Resources, along with two copies of itemized invoices showing all factory options. Payment is due within forty-five days after invoice submission and receipt of final goods.

All submissions must be completed through the Public Purchase online bidding system in PDF, Excel, or Microsoft Office format. The state reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, award in whole or in part, or make multiple awards. Bidders are responsible for monitoring Public Purchase for addenda, responses to questions, and award information; the Wyoming Procurement Office will not communicate via email, fax, mail, or telephone. The Wyoming Trails Program document notes its openness to evaluating alternative manufacturers and encourages pre-bid demonstrations and discussions with interested vendors; contact the program office in Lander.
